“Blended Gas On Demand “ System Questions

 FLOW RATE

  ·         What is the delivery flow rate that your application(s) requires?

(This flow rate is what is expected to be drawn off from the Reservoir Tank)

SPECIFICS OF THE GASES TO BE BLENDED

·         What are the total numbers of gases that require to be blended simultaneously?

·         What specific gases will be used in the system?  (The gases must be dry)

·         What are the Source gas concentrations (connected to the rear of the system)?

·         What is the available pressure of each source gas?  (Input Pressures must be regulated to be the same and at 30-50 psig above Reservoir Tank Pressure)

·         Will Source Gas Low Pressure Alert Signal be required?

(Voltage output only (5 VDC, 24 VDC), audible or visual light)

·         What are the output gas concentrations you will require for each gas?

GAS RESERVOIR

·         What is the approximate volume of reservoir tank? (If currently in place)

·         Required set point pressure to maintain in Reservoir Tank?

·         What is the controlled range of output pressure required from Reservoir Tank?

Note:  Any restriction between output of gas blender and reservoir tank should be minimized; Therefore connecting tubing must be sized accordingly. (Nominal Size 0-50 SLPM ¼”,50-____ SLPM ½” )

Will Reservoir Gas Low Pressure Alert Signal be required?

(Voltage output only (5 VDC, 24 VDC), audible or visual light)

 GAS Output

NOTE:  These questions will help to determine the maximum & minimum total flows to satisfy the required output of the application

·         What is the total duration of time the gas blend will be requested during a working day?

·         What frequency will the gas blend be demanded?  (How Often Requested)

·         Is the demand cycle repeatable or intermittent?

·         What is the maximum uninterrupted duration the gas blend will be drawn from reservoir?
